Posted June 4, 2016 Hello everyone I am looking at creating a home server. Right now i have a old hp ml350 g5. I don't keep this on all day because it idles around 200 watt. My plans are to run 4 vm's in esxi. So i would need around 16-32gb of ram and a decent cpu. The only problem is that i want expandability and low power. I'd like to keep it under 50 watt. I've looked at the intel nuc but the problem is that there is not a lot of expandability. I have a budget of €500.Could anyone give me some advise?
