Budget phone for grandparent

Hi,

My grandfather is currently using some cheap T-Mobile slide-out phone, but is having problems with it syncing to his car with Bluetooth (needs to confirm every time it connects). I was thinking of upgrading him to something nicer, but I'm not sure what would be the best choice. He doesn't even have a data plan so high-end Android phones are way overkill. All he really does is save a few numbers to speed-dial and call through that. Something with a fairly large screen would be good so he can see it. Under $100 would be good too (this really doesn't have to be high-end).

Thoughts?

I think we need bit more information.
Does he use it strictly for calling and messaging?

Moto E ?

It doens't have a flashlight but it has a snapdragon 401 I belief and is similar to the Moto g.

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

Nothing severe, but something with maybe a nice 4" screen would be easy for him to use.

Get an Nokia.

They're indestructible, perfect for people who might be prone to dropping them (such as the elderly)

  • Thermaltake Versa H22 Case   |   1TB Seagate, 0.5TB Hitachi (7200RPM)   |   ArcticRed+ 700WStock    |   Windows 8.1

Ill throw in an idea being Lumia 550. decent battery life, contrasting colours, big screen and cheap.
I think he would like the fact that u can pin important people directly to the home screen easily.

If it was me, i would try to find a nice deal on a mint LG g2. Wicked battery life and large screen.

moto e(2nd gen) is a good choice too.

Windows Phone 10 is much better than the original 8.

It's 64-bit, support DX12, and UWP apps (all cos W10)

I know this is probably a little too much, but the Meizu M3 Note is a good device, for its sub 200€ price tag. It has a very large 4100mAh battery and a mediatek Helio P10 and a 5.5 inch display. With 16/32Gb of storage and 2/3Gb of ram and 1080p resolution, your grandfather should be able to see its well and store some photos or pleasant memories he desires too take with its 13Mpx rear camera and 5Mpx front camera, both which shouldnt be anything great, but will do the job fine. It even has micro sd expansion and is dual sim. I brought this one up because you said ( Under $100 would be good too (this really doesn't have to be high-end). Not only is it a mid-range phone, but for its price it seems quite good.

Already bought the Moto E for him and also not sure where I'd buy that in America (I just got the Moto E off of Amazon Prime)
