Trying to share a USB HDD on a network

ScaryFatKidGT

So I'm tying to share a Seagate USB drive on a network from an old laptop that is now running Windows 10.

I have turned off "password protected sharing" yet when I try and "Map a network drive" from another computer I need a password to access this computer..... nothing changed when I changed the setting, restarted both computers... same wants me to "enter network credentials". I have also tried my routers password and that doesn't work either. What is this asking for?

You need to set sharing permissions and NTFS permissions so Everyone can have read (and maybe write) access

Comb it with a brick
