Help REQUIRED Upgrading PC

Hi, i am willing to upgrade my Pc so i can hackintosh it. I am buying a new motherboard. My specs are:

i3 LGA 1150 3.6 GHz 6mb cache

Motherboard: Asus B85M-G

2 Corsair Vengeance 4GB 1600 mhz

Hyperx Fury SSD 240 GB

MSI RADEON R9 380 4G

So i was thinking to upgrade the PC, probably core i5, but they are expensive and the cpu frequencies are low, should I buy a new CPU. My boot is very slow ( win 10 ). My OS is on HDD not SSD but still 12.7 secs is disappointing. Will a new processor fasten up the PC,and secondly the motherboard ( the previous is a minimal budget) i have z97 and h97s under consideration. (GA-Z97X-SLI

GA-Z97X-UD3H) these are my options . WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Not really. You´d be better of just moving your OS to your SSD.

The speed of your Windows 10 boot has nearly nothing to do with your i3. That's all on the HDD

IMO, keep the motherboard and  get a locked core i5, like the 4460.

either just move your OS to your HDD only or do that and get a Z97 motherboard and a 4690K with some nice cooler to overclock because overclocking is fun :D

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

H series cannot overclock. Z series is for overclocking but you need a K series CPU.
