Is Corsair Dominator Platinum worth it?

Is Corsair Dominator Platinum really worth the extra $30 compared to something like Kingston HyperX Savage? (Or G.Skill RAM)

IMO, not really. Already been stated again and again that RAM barely effects performance. That means just go for a brand that doesn't fail and get the capacity you need (for gaming 16 gb is good). But if you do want it for the aesthetics (which I admit, the dominator platinums look pretty cool) then I would buy it if you have the money to spare.
