Monitor Recommendations

Hey guys, I've been able to put together a list of parts for an upcoming rig I'm building, but one thing I've been stuck on deciding is the monitor I will use.
The friend that help me work through picking parts said that "any 1080p should do", but actually looking at the variety available is quite overwhelming.
Is there a 1080p monitor you guys would recommend that is under $200 for gaming?

Edit: I forgot to mention I'd like the size to be somewhere between 23 and 25 inches and that I'm a Canadian buyer.

In gaming, do you prefer better graphics or higher frame rates/combo of both?

At the moment I'd sacrifice anything above 60fps for good graphics, maybe even go as far as sacrificing anything above 30fps.

Well with that in mind, I would recomend the acer r240hy. It's 1080p, 60hz, but it's also ips, so you get better color reproduction and improved contrast at the sacrifice of faster delay time. Fps will remain at 60 though

I'd say the ASUS VE247H

Definitely now a competitor on my decision of a monitor to choose.

Although that sounds like the features I want, unfortunately it's very much over my $200 budget for a monitor.

Why is it so expensive for you? It's listed on Amazon for me as $130

Well that would explain it, for I am located in 'Murica, using 'Muican currency. My bad

Edit: In this case, I would suggest the AOC I2267FW

Yes, the strong Ol' 'Murican Dollar.
And If that is one you're recommending, it is also a nice competitor to the Asus VE241H, which does make the choice a tiny bit easier.
