Upon further inspection you are correct! I thought they launched today, seeing them all over the web and all. but they're just pre-orders.  they're expected to ship June7-10

No. Broadwell-E doesn't replace the current Skylake lineup at all. It's not even on the same socket, so there's no reason for Skylake to drop in price.

Highly doubt it.its still a flagship in its class. there might be a sale due to lots of people buying these x99 chips though.
