can you make notification for reply to the same status stack?

i just got home and i have 35+ notifications from that memearific status update, and a few from real quotes, and to see the quotes i had to look at the full notification panel, i dont want to unsub from that status update because i like it but it would be cool if it just stacked. so when one replied it said it did then of someone else does it says like blah blah and blah blah replied so its in the same nonfactual, even if it was hours apart it would just bump that alredy existing notification to the top with the new name of the person, so then you only have 1 new one for that instead of like 800

It does that with other things dont know why it doesnt with status updates.
