I would get a 1080 either way, much less config headaches with single card solutions. I am a paid professional, but only when I am at work...and getting paid. Posted May 26, 2016 980TI SLI would be better. 980 SLI would be equivalent. I would go 980TI SLI. Also the cooler on the 1080 sucks. However, at this point I would lean towards a single 1080 or a reduced price 980TI and upgrade to 1080TI once available.
