If you can get an i3 + board for less money then do that. Basically the FX 6300 and i3 4170 perform the same - get the cheaper one. GPU is fine but avoid Gigabyte and Asus - get a 380 from XFX/PowerColor/Sapphire/MSI

The memory is fine

Storage is fine

Case doesn't matter

The PSU is rubbish - get a SeaSonic S12II 520W - the CX and VS from Corsair are terrible quality

No sense in going for i5 + 950 on a budget build - i3 + 380 would deliver 40% better performance.

Are you planning to aim for any upgrading or future proofing?

It might be worth thinking about the workload you will be performing with CAD as sometimes it may slow down with 8GB RAM.  Just a thought as RAM is not the most expensive part of a build to pick up 2 x 8GB sticks or 1 x 8GB with the option to upgrade if it is not enough?  Worth thinking about leaving upgrade-ability as easy as possible.

As long as it's dual-channel (2sticks) it will be fine - 16GB is not needed

But how much cheaper? if it's less than 3/4 of the price of the i3 then go for the 6300 else i3 :)

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

FX 6300 is 104 eur  I3 is 118 eur.

But why I should go for I3 ? if 6300 and I3 perform same. Any other advantages ?

'preforms the same', that really does depends on the games as the 6300 will preform better in games that utilizes all cores or has the 4 core min requirement (as the i3 isn't a true 4 core, it's a dual core with 4 threads) but the IPC on the i3 is so much better than in 1-2 core situation (and games), it will preform a lot better :P

I guess go with the 6300 as it is cheaper :P which means better PSU (although a xfx ts/seasonic PSU are cheaper than the cx here while they are much better in quality :D)

About PSU. Everywhere I look Seasonic S12II-520  is out of stock. Can anyone suggest any other alternatives ? Maybe Seasonic M12II-EVO520 ?

You can find some really cheap 6300's on the used market. Got one with a good after market cooler for 75usd total. At that budget used is king.
