Yes, in fact I believe most people who paid full price would be pissed. I understand prices drop after an item is no longer "new" but 3 weeks later and drops $20? That is too fast. Especially for a game "from the makers of the hit series borderlands".

The point is, you're locked into battle.net if you want it. Not my favourite thing, but it is what it is.

you are locked to steam for 90%+ of all games and valve is pretty shit tbh.

I realized that a while ago and stopped buying off steam

That's actually pretty tempting for me, haha. Still, I think I'm going to maintain discipline and wait for the free weekend which will undoubtedly happen sooner than people might expect (Gearbox will probably be desperate enough to hold one soon). Then I'll see what happens from there.

you cant even compare the 2 games, except they are both cartooney hero fps.

i would be so pissed if i bought the game on launch for 60 bucks..
