The new Bitfenix Phenom was put up for preorder at my local computer store today and I just wanted to ask what people thought of it. Personally from the pictures I really like the look of it, however it does seem that they have basically reskinned the prodigy. Several features indicate this such as the inclusion of a  5.25" internally but no slot on the outside for a device to be placed in, also the inclusion of all the fan mounting holes on the front of the m-ATX model are blocked by the mounting position of the psu.

It looks like a great case for a editing machine or storage server due to it having like 8 HDD sleds in it.

They are also releasing the Colossus M which is the same design case with LED's on the outside

The Prodigy M wasn't that great IMO, it was just a normal Prodigy with a changed internal layout to fit a mATX board and that was it.. This one is a little better, but is essentially a Prodigy without handles o_O. If I were doing an mATX build I'd definitely go build in a 350D.

yes the prodigy m is exactly what the name indicates and what people asked for and they delivered! also i dont understand why people are building an mATX build in a 350d as its huge compared to other mATX cases the whole point for mATX imo is for it to be small and the 350d is not!

Personal preference. mATX for me is smaller than ATX, but still capable of holding powerful hardware (dual-GPUs, 240mm rads, etc.). I just don't like the Prodigy M's internal design. It feels like to me it wasn't well thought out.

I like the look of the case... However, i do kinda hope they release a windowed side panel. Just because when i see the ITX version of i can imagine a full custom loop and an awesome side panel window (similar to the prodigy but somewhat larger).

The phenom looks just like a prodigy sans the handles. I was hoping someone beside EVGA and NCase M1 would make an actually small mITX case.

I have a 350D and it's not that big. Given that it can hold 2 280 radiators (and one of them a thick one) its pretty small. It's much smaller than a midtower that I used to use. Small is a matter of perspective.
