Ok so you could try running antivirus in case of any malware. Are the parts old? See from task manager/afterburner/any software that shows real time info if anything is really high (ram usage, cpu usage, GPU usage)

Have you run any antivirus software lately? as @henkka_scorpio said basicly. Otherwise task manager/afterburn/wththfuck is going to help diagnostic where is the problem.

My pc is running very slowly, i ran malwarebytes, removed 300 items, didnt help, nothing out of ordinary in task manager, so i reset the cmos battery on the mobo, and it was running fine again. I left my pc for a minute after that, came back and it was slow again

Specs? Since Malwarebytes picked up 300 items, I'd guess you have a virus or two (or more) as well. Best thing to do is to just reformat, reinstall Windows and start new.

^This

Might wanna try running malwarebytes a couple more times before you reinstall Windows. Could fix some things.

Recently my pc has just started running very slowly, taking a long time to open things, getting into fullscreen, and is dropping so many frames on ROTMG its not even funny.

Easiest way to do it is to just do a clean install of Windows, this will remove any viruses, malware, spyware etc that may be eating up your system resources. Alternatively, use CCleaner to clear out unnecessary log and temporary files, disable start-up items (using Task Manager) and disable Windows animations (Advanced System Settings).

Overall, I reckon you should backup your important files and fresh install Windows through the built in RESET options.
