Better overclockability or something. But in reality, nothing really for the average user to pay $100 more (was it $100? I dunno).

As for loads of additions, not really aside from better DX12/Vulkan support. Pascal is more of an evolutionary upgrade than a revolutionary one.

Just now, nerdnooby said:

whats the difference between the 1080 and the 1080 founders addition and is their going to be loads of other additions like their is for the 980

founders edition is the reference card.

the other cards are going to be cheaper, have better power design and better cooling. (but there is still a place for blower cards, just not in normal desktops)

The only reason you would want the founders edition is because it will be available on release day and the other wont.

Winning an argument with a woman step by step

step one - talk to her

step two - fight with her for 2 hours even if you are really right

step three - admit that she is right for the sake of your safety

step four - realize that you have accomplished nothing and she still thinks you were wrong and now she thinks you are even more stupid

It's a "premium design", "Better components", Definitely no thermal throttling LUL! Completely cutting off a power phase, RIP premium quality. Only idiots or people with spare money would buy this. If you have a SFF system then wait for a "SE" version "Shitty Edition".

The Founders Edition is the lowest clocked version of the card, with one of the worst coolers, and it completely not binned at all.

They claim that they are avoiding competition with the board partners by making their worst case scenario obscenely expensive. Well see if this ends up being true, or if board partners take this as the baseline cost of a custom 1080.

The founders edition does not have binned chip or special PCB.

Its basically the reference card and the only version available now.

Hence people still buy them à la new iPhone release.

Suckers

Butthurt Android fanboys need to bring up their inferiority complex at every opportunity xD
