Is it the right time to get a 3440 x 1440 Ultrawide

I am interested to purchase the Asus PG348Q, but there are so many comments online on the quality issues with this monitor. I was wondering if I should get this monitor or wait and see if there are any good ultrawide monitors that would the announced at Computex.

1070/80 will compliment 21:9 1440p very nicely.

depends if you want to play the waiting game. but if you look around there are heaps of other ultrawides

I want to get a higher refresh rate moving from 4K (60Hz) to 1440p (100Hz). The only other ultrawide that I know having 100Hz and 3440 x 1440 is the Acer X34 which also has  quality issues.

Will upgrade to GTX 1080 ti when that is released. As I already have GTX 980 2 Way SLI.

maybe u should look into getting a better monitor when you upgrade your rig because by then, there will be more monitors out.
