1080p IPS 144Hz Gsync Monitor exist?

Hi Guys,

 

Does anyone know if a monitor maker is soon to release a monitor that is:

 

• 1080p
• IPS
• 144 - 165Hz
• Gsync

 

I know about the ASUS PG279Q but that is a 1440p panel which while the monitor is awesome, I would prefer a 1080p.

sorry to ask, but why do you prefer 1080p over 1440p? is your gpu not good enough for 1440p or is it something else?

They do not exist. TN, sure. 1440p, sure.

 

1080p seems to be slowly fading as the standard for PC monitors. Manufacturers seem to be focusing much more on 1440p and up.

you basically need a 1080 in terms of horsepower to drive 1440p 144hz is like 4k 60.

I mostly play single player games but I like to run them on max settings if possible. It is a bit harder to drive a 1440p (on average you lose about 20-30fps) (Benchmarks) where as running 1080p looks perfectly fine for me.

The only 144 Hz IPS panels in production are 2560×1440.
