Hello gyes so i was running my pc and i wanted to adjust a system fan (i know i am an idiot for doing this while the pc is running) and i touched my graphics card 2-3 times and the screen got black. I restarted the pc but nothing happened. My other card is working fine. So my question is did i kill my gpu with static electricity ?

If you heard a shock, you killed it.

I applaude you. It is very hard to kill components with shocks now-a-days

I didn't hear a shock nor did i feel anything, the sceen just got black and it doesn't want to start up now. :( Im literally crying right now because i was saving every penny for this card for the past 2 months.

Probably so if it was working fine and now is not.
Try swapping the lanes and different display inputs.

Turn on and off the system again, look closely at the GPU fans, see if they're spinning. If they aren't, you can try booting on intergrated graphics and uninstall the current display drivers and reinstalling them with an older version.

Have you tried to pull the GPU out, and reseat it? Perhaps you simply bumped it and the pins didn't want to align. use your onboard graphics from intel (if applicable) and go into bios and see if the card is recognized as being plugged in if that doesn't fix it. From there you can try and RMA the card for replacement.

Reseat it, boot with just the other card, then put it back in, to me it sounds like it just came out of the PCI-e Slot.

well if its only 2 months old you might be able to get it replaced just dont tell em you touched it while it was on. Call whoever manufactured the GPU and see what you can do.

If anyone was to watch the video you will see that static electricity is pretty hard to damage your hardware, but it can still happen.

On a NVIDIA GPU, There is a solid 0% Chance that is the cause of death :)

If they still sell the exact same card, buy it, swap the serial number (usually just a sticker) and return it.  A heat gun will easily peel off any sticker without triggering any "void" indications.

That's known as fraud.
