I currently have a amd fx 8350 cpu , and a AMD R9 390 Gb Gpu , there are some games that i enjoy playing with no problem but some games arent optimized very well for amd , so i decided to get a

new cpu , i currently have a offer on a Intel Core i5 3570k, and i was wondering if this new cpu would help with the frames and if it will bottleneck my GPU , i could really use some advice on it

P.S - What motherboard is good for this cpu and gaming?

I also got another offer from someone else , just didnt know if i wanted to pay 250$ , im probably stupid but he said to me , selling a fully functional motherboard and CPU combo with 16 GB DDR3 RAM, and I'll throw in a hyper 212 evo air cooler. The CPU is a three month old Intel i5 4590, never over clocked and the motherboard is an ASUS B85m-G.

you could probably also do that but i don't know about that cpu, also getting those part types is alot harder now because they are not sold anymore in my country so make the right choice.

I had similar issues with 8350 bottlenecking my 770 around 3 months ago. I started looking into upgrading the CPU and ended buying a new PC altogether.... I would have to drop around $400 too upgrade the MOBO, the CPU (granted, I was looking at i7 6700k) and ram.

4 days before I received new PC I overclocked my 8350 to 3.9 GHz - the bottleneck stopped, BF 4 and GTA 5 ran smooth as butter at stable 60 FPS. Idle temp at 40 degrees, not going above 65 when gaming - I changed BIOS to shut down the PC as soon as it reaches 75 degrees - never happened. Sold the old PC off to my pal, who has no issues whatsoever with the PC. 3.9 seems to be a stable overclock, initially I received it with 4.4 GHz overclock (ordered from overclockers.co.uk, so.... yeah), which was unstable as hell. Bottom line - you need to OC 8350 to get your money's worth.

Before you start upgrading, consider buying a better cooler and OCing your CPU :)

Really? are you playing at 1080p?

check your temps, maybe your CPU is throttling, or maybe you can OC it a bit and alleviate the bottleneck

there are plenty of videos and benchmarks showing that it should run fine in those games

Dunno if its really worth spending money on
