win 7 - 10

KSores

I have this old Windows XP laptop that I wanted to put on Windows 10 so I put in my Windows 7 disk and there's no option to upgrade to Windows 10 after I have Windows 7 installed how long does it typically take for the little Windows 10 icon to appear in the bottom right corner ?????

Have you installed all the updates. You might also be unable to update it due to the fact that the cpu isn't supported.

If it doesn't show up you can download the Windows 10 .ISO off the Microsoft website and install it that way.

It's less recommended but you can extract the files from the .ISO and install it over your Windows 7 installation from within the OS.

Yup, or you can burn a disk.

However, the possible reason why you don't have the Get Windows 10 app show up, is that your computer is not compatible, just something to keep in mind.
