Should I wait for invidia to come out with its new 1080/1070 on the market or should I just go with my current build specs and buy an Asus gtx 980 for my new build?

Wait for the 1080

I would wait for the 1080, and I also wouldn't get the SSDNow V300(the performance is bad, there are other slightly more expensive options that give you way more performance).

Agree. Get Adata sp550. No matter what size, it will do great.

At least wait for more game benchmarks from credible sources (Linus, Jay, Paul etc.) before deciding between the 980 and 1080.

Will do, I will be building my new pc in three months so that should be enough time I think

Good Idea. I kinda bought my R9 390 on a whim, I should have waited a bit longer for the new Graphics cards, but I need a card I could watercool and a card that was decent. It helps to thing it through. Would you consider going with the polaris cards if they prove to be decent?

Sure I'll consider it, I have no affinity to either invidia or amd. All I want out of this build is a good system that will last me for 4 years or so, that will play most games on medium or high graphics.
