Hey everyone  I was thinking about investing some money in a Gaming Rig Atm & this is my first custom built Computer & I'd just like to know your feedback on it, preferably if I should add anything/types of Water Coolers for the Graphics or Cpu because I was thinking about O/Cing since my MoBo Allows upto 248% O/C Also if I could get better parts for around the same price. So Feedback would be much appriciated. Thanks " Click Me "

Nvm, missed it. I'd grab a WD Black instead if it's the only drive.

Don't think you need the Water cooler mate. The stock AMD heatsink is pretty good. Drop that and get 760 or a larger hdd. Also get rid of fan controllers.

I would look somewhere else for the PSU. Heard the TR series has quality issues, and it doesn't even reach 80+

Also, with the money you would spend on OCing  (Better cooler power supply and motherboard) you might aswell jump up the proccessor to an 8350 because a 6300 wont be guaranteed to OC well nor will it perform aswell as an 8350.

Its all about those volumetric clouds

So I'm Guessing the Radeon HD 7950 is better than EVGA 660? I've been trying to figure this out for days and it just seems to stomp me.

Eh, modular PSUs are overrated. Yeah, non-modulars are a pain in the ass (just got one in this weekend) and I swore to myself to never get a non-modular again, but chances are unless you get a full modular, you'll need almost all the harnesses anyways. And it's really just a one-time thing, you'll almost never worry about it again. And on a budget like that, I wouldn't recommend looking for one.

The 7950 is on par with the 670, and beats it in lots of things. A gtx 760 is on par with a 7950, but they trade blows back and forth, the 7950 tends to be the better option as its cheaper right now AND you get FREE GAMES

By better I assume you mean more performance in games, then yes, it can even be more powerful than a 760

Well it's all about how neatly you can route everything behind the tray. I leave only as much of the SATA harnesses as I need, and everything else goes behind the tray including the unused connectors, then the Molexes go behind the HDD trays.

Nobody recommending him to wait till the 9 series drops? And while it may cost a touch more, the 670 isn't a bad option.

I don't think waiting may be an Option :D. I've been on a Toshiba Satellite L505-ES5018 for 5 years and this thing is just falling apart. There's no telling when it's gonna give up on me.

Looking at the asus Micro Atx MoBo wouldn't it be better to have 6Gb sata's or does it not really matter for connectivity.

I'll say right now while the Helios may look fairly nice to some (myself included which is why I bought one) The fans are obnoxiously loud and fairly bad quality. I also had it pretty much fall apart about 3 years after doing my build in it.

SATA3 only matters for SSDs, and unless I'm mistaken you aren't getting one. A mechanical drive can't saturate a SATA2 connection.
