Parts work and forget what the guy said about the PSU... I have been running one for about a year and 1/2 with a 4690 and a 960 and my PC is fine

It will work together, just a better PSU would be a good idea.  80+ Bronze at least and from a reputable company. A friend almost killed his $1500 pc because of a shitty power supply. His room smelt of dead electronics (therefore burnt cash) for a couple days.
