JacobKS

Hi, can you guys help me find out if I can put  the CM MasterAir Maker 8 inside the be quiet! Silent Base 800? I just want to know if I can close the side panel without a problem, because this cooler is too tall and I saw Dimitri from HardwareCanucks video about this cooler and it didnt fit on his case he couldn't close the side panel.

Yes you can. Max height is 170mm for the case and the cooler is at 160.5mm.

$130 is quite a lot for an air cooler no? You could get something like the Noctua NH-D5 which is cheaper ($90) but performs better :P but I guess it is more ugly where the air maker is a lot more pretty :D

lol maker 8 is the best air cooler now, I've watched some benchmark for maker 8 and x61 kraken on aida64, and I saw sometime maker 8 is much cooler compare to x61 kraken, an aio water cooled. but obviously the x61 is much cooler at most of the time, coz its an aio water cooler.

From the reviews I've seen, they say otherwise...it's not a bad performing cooler but for a lower price, you can get a better cooler :/
