Hi, I'm planning out a PC build. I already bought the motherboard and CPU (ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO ALPHA ATX, and Intel Core i7-6700k). The rest of the parts are here at PCPP. I know there's a graphics card missing, and it's going to be the GTX 1070 when it comes out. Please do suggest edits to it if you have a cheaper or better suggestion. Thanks.

Not a big thing, but I'd get another, maybe 144hz, monitor for a machine this "strong". :) Other than that, looks good to me.

Motherboard is way too expensive. Get a cheaper one to make room for a nice aftermarket 1070.

Did you even read the post?

Lol just saw the link. My bad. I think other than that it's perfect. Doesn't need that high wattage of a PSU but not much of a price difference.

Current PC: Origin Millennium- i7 5820K @4.0GHz | GTX 980Ti SLI | X99 Deluxe

1) I'd get a cheaper motherboard

2) Are you sure you need 32GB of RAM? I'd reduce it to 16GB

3) I'd get a more efficient, higher quality PSU, even if that means lower capacity

4) I'd get a higher quality, faster SSD

5) I'd get a bigger monitor

6) Are you sure you need a PCI-E extension?

CPU: Intel i7 5820K @ 4.20 GHz | MotherboardMSI X99S SLI PLUS | RAM: Corsair LPX 16GB DDR4 @ 2666MHz | GPU: Sapphire R9 Fury (x2 CrossFire)
Storage: Samsung 950Pro 512GB // OCZ Vector150 240GB // Seagate 1TB | PSU: Seasonic 1050 Snow Silent | Case: NZXT H440 | Cooling: Nepton 240M
FireStrike // Extreme // Ultra // 8K // 16K

Motherboard, I bought it and I think i'll stick to it.

32 gigs of ram for vid edits and idk, hard work.

PSU, I was about to get the corsair RM 450. what PSU do you suggest?

SSD, I don't really need a really 100% good one because I just need cheaper and more gigs. this seemed like a decent option.

I wanted a 24inch or more monitor but this is one of the cheapest 1080p monitor. Any bigger monitor you would like to suggest?

I want my graphics card to be covering the PCI-E slots I'm not using because my case, the Deepcool Genome has the option to do so.

Looks like you are waiting till June. Ask us for advice in June. The later you ask, the more appropriate and accurate recommendations you will get.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

hmm.. cool

for the PSU I'd suggest you look into Seasonic Platinum Fanless series

and for the monitor I personally use BenQ BL2710PT which is 27" 1440p display

damn that monitor's expensive.

probably because it's not manufactured anymore, I'm not up to date with new monitor releases, just browse some reviews on http://tftcentral.co.uk or http://blurbusters.com

and remember a Monitor is the window into your PC's soul!

And a good monitor will bring you joy over many, many years
