Do you need upgrade? No? Then why bother and save $1000. Your PC can run anything right now without problems .. unless you want to play on 4k ULTRA.

i want to be able to play the latest AAA titles on high-ultra. will i be able to. im thinking about battlefield 1,the new cod and no mans sky

Get a 1440p 144hz Gsync monitor or

4k 60hz gsync monitor.

These monitors are close to $1000 each

With a 970 you would probably want to aim for a 1440p Gsync, a card upgrade would come later on.

maybe buy something else. dslr, g-sync monitor, phone or save up for a car.

It reduces screen tearing but I'm not sure how it is going to truly work since I don't have one and I've already parted way with the green team

Read about it on Nvidia site. Also google about it on reddit. Those should give u much more info at the same time than waiting for us to tell you bits by bits

Essentially controlled framerate dithering. Means it matches your monitor framerate to exactly the graphics card framerate (or vis versa not looked in a while). Means you don't get nearly as much tearing and it look A LOT smoother. Pretty sexy for gamers like us.

However you could get a HTC Vive ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
