how can i add tempered glass panels on a Evolve ATX case? (obviously not the tg edition)

I didn't found any help!!

I have no experience with modding at all!!

doesn't look like those panels are available, and if you can get one, it wouldn't be very cost effective imo

they use different types of mount iirc

so even if you can get the glass panel you wont be able to mount it

the normal ones use hinge
the glass panel is screwed in

tempered glass needs to be made to shape, you can't cut it. Just use normal glass.

you can go to a glass shop and request for a glass of that shape

see what they have to offer i guess?

i've looked on google, and it doesn't look like they are selling the panels seperately (it could just be that the normal one doesn't have the proper mounting holes for the glass

How to install? Cut the old hinges off and drill new holes where they should go.

bring your case to the glass shop and discuss there

they might be able to drill holes for you to screw it into your case or the side panel to replace the acryllic?

 

you dont wanna drill glass yourself  leave it to the pros

if you're wondering if you can install the TG model's side panels, you can't they use a completely seperate mounting mechanism. if you're wondering if you can just mod it on there, you can just find a big enough piece and use some good 3M tape all along the sides it will hold it in place

I'll search for glass shop in my zone ( there aren't so many glass shop in my city )

as long as you don't ever take it off, because as soon as you do its not gunna hold nearly as well.

I don't know anything about your case but you should look up a video called Tempered Glass Side Panel Mod - Arctic Panther Build Part 3. It's by Paul's Hardware on youtube. I didn't watch the whole video but I think he basically he orders a custom cut tempered glass online. You should watch other videos and do more research tho. there are multiple methods, tips, and tricks out there that might make it easier.

Here I have a guide specifically on this under Window Modding which goes over mounting, as mentioned going with regular glass would be your best bet just be a bit careful as if it does break it will be in shards.
