That looks the exact same as the Founders Edition Nvidia is selling, I think they are just reselling the Founders Edition card on their website.

That seems to be the case but they are branding themselves on the box.  Just doesn't match up with what I've been hearing.

In the past third parties have sold cards with the reference setup/cooler, but I thought I had heard that in the 10 series situation the Founders Edition was exclusive to nvidia with no third party manufacturers.

It might be possible that EVGA and Nvidia have made a deal and EVGA gets exclusive rights (along with Nvidia) to sell the Founders Edition cards, but that's just a possibility.

Sounds about right, probably cut a deal with some companies to get more founders edition cards available.

did you not notice that at every release all the board partners sell reference cards?

this is just a reference card

the board partners sell then so that nvidia doesnt have to make all the trade arrangements with all tech stores that companies like asus or EVGA already have

NEW PC build: Blank Heaven   minimalist white and black PC     Old S340 build log "White Heaven"        The "LIGHTCANON" flashlight build log        Project AntiRoll (prototype)        Custom speaker project

Spoiler

Ryzen 3950X | AMD Vega Frontier Edition | ASUS X570 Pro WS | Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB | NZXT H500 | Seasonic Prime Fanless TX-700 | Custom loop | Coolermaster SK630 White | Logitech MX Master 2S | Samsung 980 Pro 1TB + 970 Pro 512GB | Samsung 58" 4k TV | Scarlett 2i4 | 2x AT2020

My mistake I wouldn't know since this is the first time I have experienced a release.

That's what I was saying about third parties doing it in the past, but the way I was understanding the "Founders Edition Explained" information was that Nvidia would be the only one selling the FE directly.

You must have missed that this was moved into graphics cards before you made this post.  No big deal, it's an honest mistake.
