Ok So I was playing bf3 and then it went to a BSOD and said low ram or something like that :(

So what do I do to fix this so it will not happen?

Or do I even need to do any thing?

Seeing that you only have 4GB of RAM, I'd get another 4GB of RAM for a total of 8GB. I personally use 3.6GB of RAM while just browsing the internet.

You could also turn off background applications and then game.

Means you don't have enough RAM, 4GB isn't that much especially for gaming.

I know I have no money and this costs a lot lol

Please zip and upload the following files.

Start> RUN> "MSINFO32" without the quotes then hit [Enter].
In "MSINFO32" go to, File> Save> name it your user-name and upload.

Navigate to;

C:\Windows\minidumps

Copy the files to your desktop zip and upload them as well.

when will people learn... bluescreenview doesn't do shit.

you need something that can INTERPRET the crash, not just show you what it said. blurescreenview is like driving a car blind...all it ever says is ntoskrnl.sys... which is the main windows kernel... not helpful in the least.

we need the raw .dmp files...

I've fixed a lot of issues with blue screen view. It says more than ntoskrnl.sys... it's told me exactly which drivers were causing issues and updating drivers fixed issues multiple times.

Here you go I have no idea about this stuff lol

Don't open the error, just open the program and click the latest crash, you'll see something like these:

bluescreenview.gif

Take a screenshot of that, it will tell you the files and drivers that were likely the cause of the issue.

if you're lucky. I've only ever had it flag ntos krnl. I use sysnative bsod debugger. it's an interface for windbg. runs through several dumps in one run. gives bios info and links to drivers. it will be able to solve issues deeper than the obvious ones that bluescreen view will do. trust me. i've debugged about a hundred bsod's for various people.

Yeah, as previously said, zip up the files in C:\Windows\Minidump and upload the archive to the forum so that we can take a look and try and identify the issue. If it doesn't happen again, it could be a software bug, but if it does then there's something wrong. You shouldn't get a BSOD after a low memory error, although I have a feeling it may have happened to me too (while playing bf3).

i'm gonna agree with several people here:

1) 1 bsod isn't a biggie, i've encounterd a lot of them sorting out issues and all that uglyniss

2) 4gb, windows 7 pro, heavy gaming? at least double it man, windows 7 just uses most of it, 1 application doing an update while you game could have just caused you running out af ram
