What's the best GPU for my build?

KJ4

I am looking for the best possible GPU to get without it bottlenecking my CPU. What would you recommend? I have £150 to spend.

Here's my build:

EVGA 80+ PSU

AMD Athlon 860K

Rosewill SRM-01 Case

Gigabyte F2A68HM-HD2 Motherboard

Corsair Vengance 2133MHz DDR3 RAM

R9 380 4GB. Should be doable.

I think a lot of people have been saying it will bottleneck the CPU though.

It won't.

What would you think would be better? A GTX 960 or the R9 380?

The 380 tends to outperform it by 15% in most games.

Okay, thanks for the help!

It's fine. The 860K is more than capable of feeding the 380

Thanks, and what about the 430W PSU, would that be fine for the system or would I have to go for a different GPU that requires less power?

You need a new PSU regardless of the GPU. Not cause of wattage but cause EVGA W1 are terrible
