If you save it on the Sim and you move the sim to a different phone it will be on that new phone. Since most smart phones are synced it doesn't matter. Save it on the phone since the sim has limited space.

how many contacts would fit on it? (estimate)

Might I ask what you had before? I think I may get one but it's $200...I have an iphone4 right now and wasn't sure if I really want an HTC One or not.

I've got a One and personally save contacts to Google as I can then access them on other devices; iPad etc.

How much do you enjoy your HTC One? :P

I want to know what people that have it think.

Make sure to sync it to Google. This way your contacts are saved and everytime you Sync a new phone your contacts will be there automatically.

I've got a kinda indepth review floating around the reviews section. My biggest complaint would still be the vulnerability of it being dropped which the iPhone doesn't have due to the impact band around the outside of it.

i also don't like the charging slot being in the same orientation of the power button, mix those up all the time :P and that there is no middle button so apps have to dedicate the bottom ~100 pixels to having that one button :/

I save all my contacts to my SIM in case my phone has to go through a factory reset and I'm caught unprepared. Don't know what the limit is for the number of contacts you can save on a SIM but I'm pretty sure it's more than 15. I back up my contacts to Google just as a last line of defence.
