On my old headphone, both side works fine. This new one needs me to input the USB cord attached on the headphone as well for both side to work. Based on the box, the USB only used for the LED lights.

The usb must provide extra power to the driver part then.

Hello LTT forum. I would like an assistance about new headphones i bought recently.

Currently my headphone has a problem. When I insert audio jack alone, only right side have sounds while left doesn't, I had to plug in the USB (Intended for the light on headphone) and then both side outputs nicely. However when there's no audio running, the right side of the headphone has a small annoying static sound.

Is there something wrong with the jack since i need to plug the USB too? Here is my PC specs and current headphone I am using

OS : Windows 10

CPU Type : QuadCore AMD Trinity, 3200 MHz

GPU : Nvidia GeForce GTX 950

Sound Driver : Realtek High Definition Audio Controller.

Headphone : Sonicgear X-Craft 2000

Something is wrong with you headphones that is for sure when you say you have static sound when no sound is playing.

I also think you have a cord that is not connected to your onboard sound, unless both sides work on other hadphones or headsets.

It says on the box that says "Total Number of Drivers built-in : 2".

I suppose it does used for extra power. Thanks everyone.

you can always send them back if you don't want the static noise and buy something else.
