So I guess apparently the rumor mill was wrong...

According to

http://techreport.com/news/30077/nvidia-teases-pascal-geforces-amid-gtx-1000-series-rumors

the new pascal cards are launching this Friday based on Orderof10.com countdown which has the polygon shape design on the 1000 series reference cards housing, approaching earth with a counter...

Just go to Orderof10.com

you may need to click on the top left of the screen and select countdown to see the actual countdown.

I think Nvidia is trying to fight the "GTX 1080p" feeling for the name...  and I hope for a launch too!

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

So if you head on over to Paul's Hardware and watch the second part of today's Awsome Hardware show (with Kyle) they are sitting there being ridiculously obvious about it and that it got "out" and nVidia can't "blame them or send people to their door to whack them" or whatever joke they were making there...so my money is on

yes, they are "paper" launching on Friday and will be wildly available by Computex...except the part about three cards being launched...I believe the 1060 Ti and 1070...not sure if I can believe they'll push the 1080 out that fast...but maybe...

They're not launching. If they were launching reviewers would have had cards in hand by now and not OrderOf10 boxes. It sounds like Friday is when they'll start getting cards out to reviewers and possibly release a few details to the public. I doubt we'll hear much about the specs and I'd be pretty surprised if we hear prices. I'd imagine they'll just announce the cards coming out and say this one is for VR, this one is our flagship, blah blah.

If reviewers had them we wouldn't know because of NDA.

Precisely...and that sure does sound like what Paul and Kyle were eluding to on the video...that they "know" stuff, "received" stuff in a secure pelican case...and if you happen to look at the cutout inside the case that Paul shows, sure does look like the size of a reference card to me...in fact, pause the playback when he shows the interior foam cutout and you can also see an empty black hardware bag, similar to the bags some psu's come with...I have no doubt those cards were sent out to certain reviewers, Paul clearly got one, Linus probably has one too.

I'll eat crow if I have to but, I'm saying that Friday morning nVidia is going to announce that the 1060 Ti, 1070, and maybe (kinda doubt) the 1080's have shipped to stores in North America. They'll be available around the globe by Computex...they did it now to beat AMD to the market. We'll see a new flagship later this year followed closely by a 1080 Ti soon after, just like last year. That's what I'm saying...I could be wrong but I am 99% sure that's what's happening on Friday.

AMD will probably launch their first batch at Computex and nVidia clearly wants to beat them to market. Especially since the AMD cards are going to come in under nVidia's price point and start canabilizing sales...that's what makes the most business sense.

I don't believe Steve from GamersNexus, Paul from Paul's Hardware, etc are that good of actors to pretend to be surprised by the Orders of 10 packs. Also, what would be the point of those if the reviewers already had the cards?

I think it'll be a reveal and not an actual physical launch. Might see the specs and the products i.e. 1080/1070, including official release date and prices. Would be awesomesauce if they actually released Friday, but I highly doubt it.

This is what I mean by a paper release...like I said, some cards have shipped to retail in North America, like NCIX and maybe a few more of the smaller less "well known" retailers...places like Newegg and Amazon will get them closer to or during Computex...

But I do expect to see some cards on Friday, people trying to make a buck will post some on eBay for those who just refuse to wait, and those buyers will be the filthy rich ones that a thousand here or there makes little to no difference to them...

One thing is for certain though...nVidia is having a press event on Friday, that's common knowledge, so the one thing we know for sure is SOMETHING is definitely happening in 2 days.
