Nvidia Gameworks worth it?

But speaking of HW, your complaint was that performance hit is too big. It's too big because of 2 reasons. High tess level, and AMD's poor tessellation performance. I still don't get why you're complaining about only 1 of those.

I suspect closet AMD fanperson

THANKS FOR ALL THE REPLIES. But, in general, what I'm hearing is that Gameworks is good in games that support it. But as a consequence of using better graphics, performance can be hit severely in certain games. If I got it wrong please let me know!

But most people are saying that its not worth it and to stick with my originial choice. So I will stick with my original choice, unless it changes once Pascal/Polaris comes out.

GameWorks is overall, not a very consumer-friendly thing - the Tess levels are set to x64 and that's absurdly high considering x16 looks exactly the same but performs 3 times better. Basically, don't buy based on GameWorks or GPU Open (AMD's version) - buy based on benches done on equal footing - like in games such as Bioshock Infinite, Battlefield 4 and etc
