Good deal?

Hey guys! My friend recently bought this for 300EU:

CPU: i5 3570k

Mobo: Gigabyte Z68

RAM: 8GB RAM

GPU: GTX560 (free with the pc)

Case: Fractal Design (nice one, Idk which exactly) + 1 extra fan

PSU: 500W Cooler Master bronze+ certified

Do you think this is a good deal for a gaming pc? He had a laptop with Pentium cpu and Nvidia 710M, so it's a huge upgrade for him

 

Edit: also a Scythe Fuma for cpu cooling.

I'd say that your friend got a pretty decent deal. Change the graphics card, and add more RAM later when you need more power.

 

But €300 for that computer is a solid deal.

sounds like a decent price

overclock a bit and you should be able to game at 720p just fine

 

or swap the gpu to something like a gtx 970 and you'll be set for 1080p

though make sure your computer supports this upgrade (psu, clearance and whatnot)

He's on a budget. The gpu was free with it. But he might be getting a better gpu later.
