Why do you use incognito or private on your web browser... (other than...well you know)

 

I mainly use it for searches that I don't want to be in my google ads such as if my sister is gonig to use my computer for MLP or Barbie games I don't want  google to suggest me to buy it off amazon and such. I don't want if to save anything to my cache/history because I don't want to accidentaly visit said sites with my freinds around or while live streaming.

 

These are some of my reasons incognito / private browsing and I'd like to hear other reasons you guys/girls use it :)

I open an incognito window if anyone needs to check their mail or go onto facebook or whatevs I'm too lazy to log out, and it keeps them from getting on my profiles.

Does anyone even use PCIe SSDs?

I use them to open Twitch chat links so I don't have to delete my history if it's stupid

Other than the "well... you know" reason I use it when I want to login somewhere under a different username without having to logout.

I still have 2 hotmail accounts (just in case someone still has those addresses) and since they so intelligently (NOT) removed the linked accounts feature I open incognito to login with the 2nd one from time to time.

I also use it when a friend wants to check his/her email/school webpage/wtv without having to log out of mine.

Really people, you should use VM's for well, you know because its safer. I use private browsing for when I'm on other peoples computers and need to log-in to an account

Why would I spend the extra time opening a private tab when I could be... you know? It's not like other don't know I watch porn, and I don't have any fetishes that I would care about if people knew about. Anyway this thread gave me an idea on how to kill some time. Bye. ;)

I just don't want to be in the middle of a school presentation, open the browser for some reason and have some links showing up as I type something...

And I don't think my school group colleagues are ready for my porn tastes...!

Also use it to check my other gmail accounts (since Chrome logs me into a secondary gmail for all my Google associated services like YouTube). Use it to do online banking transactions and online shopping as well, and to do searches for things I don't want saved in my history. Also tend to open it when someone else needs to use my computer for browsing.

Other than, "you know", I use it when browsing on Reddit because there is some F*cked up sh*t on there and I don't want my siblings to have any of it suggested while searching.
