USB 3.00 vs Sata 3 6gbps are there any differences ?

As the title inclines , if i put my game library to a 2tb Transcend portable USB 3.00 HDD instead of a regular mechanical  sata 3 hdd and play off games through it will it make any noticeable difference in real world and in gaming performance ?

Unless you previously had the games on an SSD, you wont notice much difference.

 

Molex to SATA, lose all your data

According to crystal disk info it seems like usb 3.0 is equivalent to sata 2 speeds. But is it a usb 3 ssd? If no then you may not notice the difference
