something used, like a used Hyper 212 or something. not sure what you can really do with that budget

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

Maybe a zalman CNPS10??  can't remember the model right now, but if you can't find a used cooler that someone suggests, either something like the zalman, or if you can stretch your budget a bit more, a coolermaster hyper 212 evo/x etc at about $24

Please quote my post, or put @paddy-stone if you want me to respond to you.

Your stock cooler.

Normally if @king2969 were using an Intel CPU, I'd have to correct you and call it a Stock Furnace. But I see he has AMD, so the stock cooler is actually decent.

i cant and thx

SilenX Effizio EFZ-92HA3. $18. Not going to do much to help you with an overclocked 4790K, but it can handle a mild overclock on a lower TDP chip nicely. Used it on a G3258 without any problems.

hb the ZALMAN CNPS10X OPTIMA?

Zalmans, for the most part, aren't worth wasting time on. I have a cheap Zalman downdraft cooler on my HTPC and it's quieter than the stock cooler, but it performs no better.
