How to Enable Ads for Selected YouTube Channels

tahayassen

this is interesting, ABP shows that it disables itself when i go to any video of LinusTechTips (Icon turns gray}

But something still seems to be avoiding the Ad.

Anyways, here is a screenshot of my plugins

Do you have youtube center? If so, there's an option in there to disable ads (first page of options I think). If you don't have it, you should!

Can you try disabling all your add-ons except adblock and greasemonkey and see if that works?

Also, do you have other greasemonkey scripts?

disabling all others seems to have helped.

time to enable them one by one and locate whatever is causing this

EDIT:

Youtube Center is the baddie in this story, probably because it resizes the video and all other shenanigans.

My Youtube experience kind of depends on Youtube Center now, so I am currently unsure what to do.

Disabling AdBlock for all of Youtube is not a option.

Because, quite frankly, I want to decide which creators I support and which I do not support by having the entire experience ruined by some weird ad about singles in my area.

Disabling Youtube Center is also not a option, because of Dash Playback.

I could look into the resize options, but that is for a later date.

In the end, It is Youtube that should implement their ads better.

YouTube Center blocks ads. You need to stop it from blocking ads as per:
