Noctua NH-U12S for Skylake

Go to solution Solved by DioOmicida,

Yes, the mounting sockets are the same for the 115x boards.
Noctua has good Customer Service if there is an issue.

I have a I7 6700 however I would like to know if its compatible with the current skylake gen.

Noctua NH-U12S

As the website says:

1150/1155/1156/2011, AM2(+)/AM3(+)//FM1/FM2, 300~1500 RPM, 93,4 m³, 13~22.4 dBA

But does it work with the LGA 1151 socket?
