Green Artifacts

MetaDrow

Recently my ASUS MX239H started showing green artifacts on dark areas, edges when scrolling and youtube videos. I know it's not my graphics card because Ive tested it on 2 different cards and it shows up on the PS3's menus, it also seems to be worse on different modes beside standard more. Is there any way to fix this or do I have to get a new one? And what are the causes of this so I can avoid this in the future?

Yep. I've seen bad cables do some strange things.

I've tried different cables and same results; can I even rma it? its been about 7 months since I bought it and ASUS customer support seems to be delaying my replies...

Hi, I hope you're still active as the fix to this is to reset the monitor settings with restore factory settings and it'll go away I guarantee it. Literally replaced my dvi to hdmi for a hdmi standalone and did nothing. Ticked me off to find out it wasn't my video card so I guess that's good to know. My mx239h had this since I bought it.

I really think they need to update the firmware as I believe that's the problem on this thing.
