AKG K550 MkII vs. Sennheiser HD25

TheCaptain53

So after finding out that my Sennheiser Urbanites had a broken pin only a couple of days after opening it, I have decided to return them (I got it as a gift). As such, I will be purchasing some different headphones.

I have mainly been looking at getting a pair of AKG K550 MkII headphones, which appear to be highly reviewed and look very comfortable. I'll be pairing this with a ModMic and I'm good to go. However, my friend has suggested I should go for the Sennheiser HD25. They're smaller and doen't look as comfortable, plus, I'm still a little sore with Sennheiser about the poor design of the Urbanite. The two pairs are about the same price.

Can someone shed some insight on this matter? I'm also open to suggestions of other headphones, just nothing crazy in terms of price. Let's set a cap of £120.
