Its just android lmao, don't  touch the dev options and you're fine. The most you'll get is app crashes

If you're lucky, they won't happen a lot but they can sometimes

Nice (: Yeah I dont know what its going to be like I have only ever had IOS...... But have jailbroken it most of the times I have been using.. for the customization hopefully android should be like that (:

Rooting your phone would be a little on the advanced side, basically the process of jailbreaking an android (Technically speaking)

IT allowes you to install custom ROM's like cyanogenmod and stuff but the OPx already comes with cm i think

Not really sure since I've never broken a screen on any of my gadgets before. Looking at a teardown, the back panel glass would be easy, and parts seem fairly modular. The front glass and screen are fused, but this is common now a days. If the front were damaged and needed to be replaced, it'd also require a full teardown and re-assembly by the looks of it.

use the included case and then it's quite tough. also battery life is not that great (i have one of the first models so on a newer it shouldnt be that bad).

also there is a screen protector pre-installed so make sure to dont remove it

Android is pretty customizable, however i would reccomend rooting the phone if youre a power user. Usually on Xda you will find Roms (Os) And Kernels that make the experience alot smoother and faster, since you can remove bloatware and ads. You can also do full backups from the entire device (in case you screw something up). Every tweak is easy to do if you follow the instrusction.

You have to be pretty good at bricking phones if you mannage to ruin your phone in dev options.

I mean my friend bricked his phone because he used the invert function...

Its an exellent phone. My dad is using one for his daily life for the past couple of months, and its been working great. Some serious software bugs may appear like one where the launcher of the OS stops working, similar to what happens sometimes in Touchwiz, exept in this case, you really have to get example Google Launcher or Nova Launcher, until the problem was fixed. But it packs great features and performance is very smooth, so yeah good choice.
