x260 with upgraded battery that will end up giving you 15+ hours of battery life.

T460s has it's dual core cpu raised from 15 tdp to 25 tdp so that will give about 20% more performance.

The are thinkpads so you can go to hell with it and comeback and it will still work. They both use ddr4 ram if you want to know that.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.

I've recently bought a thinkpad and it is great. The keyboard is the best one i've ever used on a laptop. I highly recommend a laptop from this serie :)

If you like OSX get the 12 macbook pro..

if you're ok with using windows get either dell xps 13 or dell xps 15... they are absolutely stunning! I suggest buying del 15 inch dell XPS. it has the size of a 13 inch laptop, and is much much better.

give it a try

Isn't that the macbook with a cpu in it that a iPad can beat, because it throttles down so much, if it is that laptop Linus did a video where he "water cooled" it so the cpu could run at full speed.

Nope it is bigger than my 14 inch thinkpad that is 5 years old so not exactly the same size as a 13 inch it's more like 14.8inch.

I believe he was referring to the 2012 macbook pro. You can still get them and they are cheaper than the newer retina models.

It does only have a 1280x800 display. I don't know of any cpu issues with this design and you can't have gpu issues without a gpu. It is also the only upgradable macbook you can buy today.
