My PC turns off under heavy load , Help?

Luxpin_

Okay , So when playing video games or if I have a lot of tabs open my computer will just shut off , then restart . Yesterday I got a notification saying my CPU fan was spinning at 0 rpm so I cracked my tower open and replugged both fans in and out then back in. I have a Corsair h100 and an i5-2500k , I saved my CPUID HWMoniter data in the notepad below , thanks for any help

Did you physically check to see if the fans are spinning while the computer is turned on?

Of what I can think of there can be two alternatives.

1: The temperatures are getting too high. Download a software and see what temperatures your cpu is getting. If it is close to 100 degrees it is probably that. Then you need better cooling.

2: The power draw is higher than that of what your psu is able to put out and it then shuts down. If this is the case you should buy a better psu

It could be your PSU, not saying it is though. Try with a different PSU and clean out your components as well to make sure they aren't overheating.

Ok, that should be fine. Now, hows those temps? Also this could be ram issue. Have you tried with one stick only, different slots etc.?

I just right now got a warning that said " 3.3V 0.000V " something along those lines , I think something is going wrong with my cpu or something.

I never hear of a CPU working perfectly at low load and then fail at high loads besides the Skylake Prime95 bug I believe. From what you just said it most likely is a PSU going bad and it could be damaging your CPU and Motherboad/ram. I would stop using it till a replacement PSU is acquired.

Your PSU wattage might be enough, but maybe it is damaged and therefore sometimes shuts of. You should if you can try run your pc with another psu
