In an attempt to get tons of iPhones, an LA "businessman" began hiring homeless people to stand in line and order the devices. Well, things did not go as planned, and he was discovered by store employees.

The homeless guys prob got a couple of bucks out of it. Is it really exploitation. They were going to be sitting outside anyway.

I don't see it as a morally bad thing as long as he actually paid them when the job was done. Legally, though, I'm not sure how that all works out.

Apparently it was legal to do it. However--I agree with you--but he messed up and never paid them. Plus he just brought them to the store and left them stranded.
