For most forums that's not going to happen, but for Tech News and Reviews, it is something that we might consider in the future.

I think Tech News and Reviews threads should be locked after 1 month, to stop older threads being revived

e.g When a newer member will join they may look at a thread that has been revived and the information may be no longer applicable thus giving them false information

Now I'm not saying mods/admins should go lock 600k+ threads (lmfao)

Like once a Tech News and Reviews thread becomes 1+months old maybe a mod should lock it? or if a thread has been revived then maybe it should be locked? note threads down that may die out? or become outdated?

quick note, I don't mean go and check every single thread, like every 1-2 months go and look around to see if any have been revived or such

this might be too much work for what it is, so I doubt it's gonna be taken seriously (idk if that's the right word :P)

You could just keep reporting those. My personal threshold for necro posts is 6 months on most forums. And 1 year for some other stuff.
