CPU = Central Processing Unit, the heart of the PC, it does all the calculating you need

GPU = Graphics Processing Unit, it handles all of things you see on your screen and calculates physics in games

RAM = Random Access Memory,  a fast cash of storage were all the things your processor needs to access is stored until it is used

Motherboard = Connects everything in the PC, with slotts for the RAM, CPU and GPU and more

HDD = Hard drive, stacked magnetic discs that spin at serverall thousend RPM and its used to store data in large quantities. its a non volitile type of storage and has mechanical parts

SSD = fast storage with no moving parts

PCI = a type of slot on your motherboard that can be used to plug in things like sound cards and similar

PCI-E = PCI express, a faster version of the PCI standard, used for graphics cards and some Wifi cards ect

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I suggest you get books on all your questions. There is no short answer, if you seek a complete answer.
