6700 vs 6700k

im buying either the 6700 or 6700k and am wondering is the 6700k worth it if i dont overclock?

The i7 6700k and i7 6700 are identical performance wise if you don't overclock.

just no there is a slight difference i also believe with some motherboards i belive 1 from as rock and 100% one from some more obscure company you can oc the 6700 the non k chip

If you don't overclock, you don't even need the 6600k. Get a 6500, 6600 or 6700 depending on what you intend to use it for.
