Do i need 2 8pins?

DemonWars

Motherboard:

So to get to the point, the labels say "need both when in heavy use configuration"
There will be two Intel Xeon E5620 2.40GHz processors in it.
So my question: will it work at all if i only use one connector because i do not have a second one right now.
And can i take one processor out until i can?

I don't think dual socket board can run with just one CPU? But for most uses, 1 8pin should be plenty to power both CPUs. The guy from EEVblog had no issues with just 1

CPU: Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition 3960X | Motherboard: Intel DX79SR "Stormville" | RAM: 32GB G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series DDR3 PC3-12800 (4x 8GB) Quad-Channel | GPU: 2x EVGA GTX 970 FTW 4GB in SLI (I have Many other builds plus 100+ Macs (don't judge me)... Many specs are listed on my profile)

It really is!
I had an amazing deal on the case too, here's my ongoing wip:

I just found out that my olde Phenom II x4 965 uses about 150watt
And these Xeons only use 65 each, so i'm still using less of the connector^^

Just saw alisting on ebay in the US for a socket 1366 motherboard dual slot, with 2x xeon 2650 I think it was... and 48GB DDR3 RAM (6x8GB kingston) for around $200... can't remember now, it was £157 I remember, but the import duty and postage were almost as much again :(

[edit] found it, so if anyone is in the US and wants a look  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Intel-S5520HC-Server-MBoard-LGA1366-SOCKET-DUAL-E5645-6-CORE-48GB-6x-8GB-DDR3-/262364114820?hash=item3d161eaf84:g:PIsAAOSwAuNW2dM5
