Turning on PC with possible PSU damage

The PSU could probably be still alive and well. Just to ensure it's completely dried, leave it out in sunshine (or dry it out) for a few more days.

As for the graphics card, if EVGA would give you a replacement, that would be great. If not, same with as the power supply, dry it out thoroughly.

You could put the graphics card (or PSU) in a bag of rice - as dried uncooked rise absorbs a TON of moisture.

So... My Dad accidentally spilled water on my brother's computer, and I'm pretty sure destroyed the GPU which is a 660 ti, hopefully EVGA will send me a new one (it has a three year warranty). But some water got in the PSU I think... I pulled the power cable from the pc as soon as the water fell into the pc, but when I opened the case to survey the damage, there was quite alot of water on the top of the power supply. So what I'm asking is if it would be an ok idea to turn on the pc with the possibly damaged power supply. It has been like 2 or 3 days since the water spilled, so it might be free of water. I just don't want to take out any other components. Help!

I would do if I knew it was really dry like if you left it in the sun

Ok, I have the GPU taken apart and it's been drying in a dish for while. Will do though with both.
